Before they could "dispose" of the plaque and scroll to commemorate John the Army Records Office had to have the Names and Addresses of his Father, Mother and any living Brothers and Sisters. This had to be witnessed by a Minister or a Magistrate

Dinah signed the Statement of John's Relatives and it was witnessed by the Congregational Minister.
